Ron Silver, whose roles are many and varied, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009. He had been battling esophageal cancer and it finally got the better of him. He was sixty two when he passed away and he will be greatly missed on screens of all sizes. Hollywood has truly lost one of its brightest lights.
